circa 1885 and smoothbored from a double hammer rifle, 28 1/8in. nitro reproved barrels, rib inscription rubbed, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, minor denting, one large pit, Jones patent rotary underlever, carved percussion fences, elongated top-strap, bolted rebounding back-action locks with dolphin hammers, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the left side of the bar with 'CHARGE 4 DRAMS CASE 3 1/4 INCHES', brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 5/8in. replacement stock including buttplate, weight 5lb. 15oz.
